7075 aluminium steering components

This aftermarket steering assembly is developed for the TAMIYA XV-02 PRO 1/10 4WD chassis and is CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium to cut down steering compliance. The upgraded arms and bridge help transfer steering loads more directly to the servo and linkages, yielding improved feedback. Bearings and mounting hardware are supplied and the fittings come pre-installed to streamline assembly.

The upgrade is intended for tuning without altering factory geometry: increased stiffness preserves toe and ackermann during heavy cornering and sudden throttle changes, producing a firmer, more reliable steering response. During fitting replace the stock plastic parts and generally reuse the original linkage where suitable; ensure aluminium fasteners are torqued correctly and check for full, free linkage travel after installation.

Is threadlocker recommended?

Use medium strength threadlocker on metal-to-metal screws if you run on rough surfaces, and recheck torque after initial break-in.
