Machined steering mount for XV-02 PRO

Manufactured from 7075 aluminium, this steering column mount is an RC-scale upgrade built for the TAMIYA XV-02 PRO chassis. The stronger alloy reduces flex around the steering assembly and gives a more rigid attachment point than standard plastic items.

To fit, remove the OEM column mount, place the aluminium item onto the existing mounting holes and fit compatible stock fasteners where suitable. Apply correct torque settings and verify servo centre and steering sweep after completing the job. The upgrade aims to reduce steering path flex for improved repeatability on the track or during practise.

Packing includes

  • Steering column mount - 1pcs

Compatible Models

  • TAMIYA-1/10 4WD XV-02 PRO CHASSIS-58707
No chassis modifications are intended for the XV-02 PRO; the mount is designed for direct replacement. Always trial-fit and confirm fastener compatibility before final tightening.
7075 alloy provides greater stiffness which can tighten steering response, though impact energy distribution differs from plastic so inspect related parts after incidents.
Check steering end-points, servo centring and wheel toe. A firmer column can reveal small alignment issues that are best corrected with final linkage adjustments.
