This Roadtech-style motor is intended for the Team Associated RC18T and is sold as one unit. It is built to a 27 Turns specification with a recommended operating range from 4.8v to 8.4v and targets high torque performance for stock-class on-road duty.
Installation follows standard RC18T procedure: remove the factory motor, mount this motor in its place, adjust pinion to spur gear mesh for correct engagement, and tighten using the chassis motor screws. Confirm electrical connections and run at low voltage first, checking temperature before higher-speed tests.
As an upgrade, the motor increases low-end torque to improve initial acceleration and control, which may require rethinking gearing and ESC settings to keep temperatures safe and ensure efficient power delivery within the 4.8v-8.4v window.
