MICRO-T front shock mounting tower

This aluminium front shock tower is an RC replacement component for Team Losi MICRO-T Desert Truck configurations. It serves as the mounting block for the front shocks and increases stiffness around the mount area versus original plastic towers.

Installation is generally straightforward if the OEM hole pattern remains unchanged; remove the stock tower, check that holes line up and reuse the original fixings if suitable. Ensure adequate clearance around the servo and steering linkages before final tightening to avoid steering bind at full lock.

Used as a tuning accessory the tower alters front chassis stiffness. Improved rigidity at the shock mounts can reduce flex-induced damping variance, helping shock valving and spring choices perform more predictably on desert or loose surfaces. Make measured adjustments to shock length, spring preload and mounting position to fine tune handling.
