Replacement aluminium steering mount for Promoto-MX chassis

This aluminium steering holder is an RC-scale replacement for the Team Losi Promoto-MX motorcycle chassis, designated JR-LMX05-PU. It replaces the factory plastic steering mount to provide a firmer, wear-resistant connection between the steering assembly and the front fork on Promoto-MX style dirt bikes.

Built specifically for Promoto-MX motorcycles, the holder is a straightforward upgrade for modellers wanting a metal mounting point in lieu of the original plastic piece. It assists in preserving alignment during repeated steering inputs and while fine-tuning steering throw or centring during setup.

Fitting uses the original screw points. Remove the OEM steering holder, position the aluminium unit against the steering shaft and fork tabs, reinstall the existing hex screws and confirm free movement of the steering link and servo horn. No special adapters are normally required for stock Promoto-MX frames.

For setup verification, inspect steering centring after installation, ensure there is no binding at full lock, and retighten fasteners following an initial run. This component is intended solely for RC dirt bike applications and does not modify servo electronics, ESCs, or motors.
