The SB021 aluminium front knuckle arms are an aftermarket steering upgrade made for Team Losi SUPER BAJA models, aimed at improving bearing alignment and delivering more predictable steering. Precision CNC machining gives accurate bearing seats and two mounting positions to fine tune knuckle angle against the turnbuckles.
These aluminium parts stabilise the wheel bearings and reduce CVD binding so the driveshaft rotates cleaner through suspension movement. Swapping out the factory plastic knuckles results in firmer geometry and more consistent steering on varied surfaces.
Hardware included: stainless steel round head screws 4x28 - 2 pcs, stainless steel button head screws 3x10 - 2 pcs, and stainless steel 4M threaded rods - 2 pcs, supplied alongside the knuckle arms. Use the original top and bottom screws where indicated to maintain the intended mounting clearances.
Fitting notes: ensure bearings seat evenly, test CVD operation across the full suspension travel, and experiment with the alternate hole to alter ackerman and scrub radius. No specialist tools are required beyond standard hex drivers.
Install SB021 to secure bearing alignment and fine tune steering geometry on Team Losi SUPER BAJA cars while sticking to the stock turnbuckle and CVD arrangements.
