Low-friction titanium shaft for aluminium mounts

This Kyosho MBW020 suspension shaft is a replacement pivot part for aluminium suspension mounts on Mini-Z style assemblies, with a titanium-coated surface that encourages smoother motion.

Function: the titanium coating cuts contact friction in the mount bore, helping the suspension pivot return more consistently and reducing stiction through compression and rebound cycles.

Compatibility & fit: built for aluminium suspension mounts; verify shaft and bore dimensions against your chassis before fitting, since the part is intended as a Mini-Z style spare component.

Installation & tuning role: install by removing the suspension arm and swapping in the MBW020, then confirm free movement and adjust shock preload or damping if necessary; this upgrade targets improved smoothness and repeatable action rather than modifying spring behaviour.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Kyosho items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
It is designed for Mini-Z style aluminium mounts; other chassis may accept it if dimensions match, but always confirm bore diameter and shaft length before attempting installation.
By reducing pivot friction, the shaft can improve rebound repeatability over bumps; however, overall rebound performance remains governed by shock setup and spring choice.
Periodic removal of grit and a light application of suitable lubricant in the mount bore will help preserve the coated surface and maintain low-friction operation.
