Lower spring retainer for T-Maxx shocks

Made for TRAXXAS 1/10 T-Maxx shock assemblies, this alloy lower spring retainer is supplied as model TMX13100/LSR. It replaces the lower plastic seat with a metal option to keep the coil spring secured at the shock foot on T-Maxx style shocks.

Installation mirrors standard T-Maxx shock service: mount the retainer at the lower spring seat so it contacts the shock body or cup correctly. When changing springs, use the retainer to hold the spring alignment and preserve preload during reassembly. Confirm seating and inspect mating surfaces prior to final torque.

For tuning work, a metal retainer provides a consistent anchor for preload and precise spring height changes when testing different spring rates. Regularly check for deformation or burrs after intensive running and reseat the part if any movement is found.
