Rear aluminium skid plate for Tmaxx

This aluminium alloy rear skid plate is an RC-scale replacement designed for TRAXXAS Tmaxx 3.3 and Tmaxx 1.1 platforms, supplied as a 1 pcs set with screws. It bolts to the original rear attachment points to protect plastic edges and to present a tougher surface in light impacts.

Fitting is easy: align the plate with the existing rear mounting holes and fasten with the included screws. Ensure correct thread engagement and apply modest torque to avoid stripping the chassis threads. The part is intended as an aftermarket protection upgrade rather than a performance mod.

Install this skid plate when you need a rigid rear underbody shield for trail sections, casual bashing, or scale practice; it helps preserve rear chassis geometry and supports suspension tuning by reducing repeated plastic wear.

The parts are great, love the quality and the colour (red)! Shipping didn't take too long considering the distance and that it was stuck in customs for a few days. The only downside is that the order took 10 days to process. I will order more again.
The plate is made for TRAXXAS Tmaxx 3.3 and Tmaxx 1.1 and uses the factory rear fixings; check your chassis variant to confirm exact fit.
Inspect screw threads and head condition; the set includes screws, but reuse originals only if they are undamaged to avoid compromised fit.
As a protective component it does not change suspension geometry but can make low-speed impacts more repeatable, which is useful when refining damping and ride settings.
