This aftermarket assembly replaces the stock spur interface on TRAXXAS CRANIAC Monster Truck drivetrains with an aluminium spur adapter plus a hardened 58T steel spur and 13T steel pinion supplied as one set. It is built for 1:10 scale RC vehicles and is intended to interface with the original gearbox and motor pinion without changing chassis layout.

Hobbyists with basic drivetrain experience will find the install straightforward: remove the existing spur assembly from the gearbox, fit the aluminium adapter onto the spur shaft aligning the mounting faces, fit the 58T spur to the adapter and clamp the 13T pinion to the motor shaft while checking mesh. Adjust shims or motor position to achieve the correct clearance and avoid binding.
