Steering mount and tie rod upgrade for Craniac

This aftermarket front mount holder and tie rod set is intended for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Craniac monster truck and is supplied as one complete upgrade kit. It replaces the stock plastic mount with an aluminium holder and pairs that with spring steel tie rods to give a firmer steering interface while preserving a near-stock mass for predictable vehicle balance.

Fitment requires basic disassembly of the front steering knuckles and removal of the factory mount, followed by installation of the aluminium holder and connection of the spring steel tie rods. Use the original hardware where it fits and standard hex tools for assembly, then confirm steering geometry and free play before running.

From a setup perspective the aluminium holder stabilises the front pivot under impact, and the spring steel rods offer a compromise between strength and controlled flex to reduce binding on rough ground.
