Hardened internal gears for E-REVO diffs

This hardened steel differential gear set is supplied for TRAXXAS E-REVO platforms. The black-finish steel provides a reliable contact surface under load and a uniform rotational feel inside the differential case. It acts as a direct replacement for the compatible factory internal gears listed in the compatibility section.

Installation is standard diff maintenance: remove the diff cover, extract the stock gears, inspect bearings and gear engagement, then install the steel output and spider gears. Confirm gear mesh and clearances before final assembly, and re-use or replace O-rings as required to keep the diff sealed. Apply appropriate diff grease and check for smooth rotation across suspension travel.

Performance notes: steel gear sets alter wear patterns and thermal transfer compared to plastic or softer alloy internals. Monitor backlash and bearing wear after initial running, maintain lubrication intervals, and avoid overtightening diff case screws to prevent altering mesh alignment.

Recommended for hobby-level service and upgrade work on compatible 1/10 4WD platforms where a metal option for diff internals is preferred.
