The GPM Aluminum Motor Mount with Heat Sink Fins is purpose made for the Traxxas E-REVO VXL, using Aluminum 6061 T6 to reinforce the motor attachment and promote heat transfer away from the motor via its widened fins. This helps keep temperatures steadier during demanding runs.

Does the mount require modification to fit?

No chassis modification is expected for E-REVO VXL fitment. Fit the supplied screws and check alignment and gear mesh before running.

How much cooling improvement can I expect?

Cooling gains depend on ambient airflow and load, but the larger fin area and aluminum construction will offer noticeably better passive heat dissipation than many stock mounts.

Is extra maintenance needed?

Keep fins clear of mud and debris and periodically check screw torque to ensure secure mounting and consistent thermal contact.
