Precision Oversized Motor Base for TRAXXAS FUNCO PRO (8S)

This is an aftermarket, precision-machined motor base for TRAXXAS 1/6 Funco Pro and compatible XRT variants intended for heavy-duty 8S applications. Made from 7075-T6 aluminium, the plate reduces flex compared with the stock plastic part and improves motor clamping, alignment, and overall rigidity for larger motor cans.

The rear securement uses a bundled tension adjustment to keep axial preload steady during torque events, and the side-screw layout includes a V-shaped step to resist screw loosening under vibration. The mount is designed for 56mm outer-diameter motors and the notes reference HobbyWing 5687/5690/56118 and Castle 2028 as example fits. Because this replaces the original plastic gear protection cover, installation requires a larger gear protection cover compatible with up to a 28T/1.5 modulus motor gear for full protection.

All fastening hardware listed in the packing section is supplied and partially pre-assembled for convenience; apply a medium-strength thread locker during final installation to secure the assembly. The component offers an adjustable, reinforced motor fixing solution for high-power 8S use on 1/6 sand car builds.
