4140 hardened pins for JATO 4X4 VXL axle service

This upgrade kit offers hardened 4140 carbon steel replacement pins for the front C-hub and rear stub axle carriers on TRAXXAS 1/8 JATO 4X4 VXL machines. The parts are intended as service items to extend component life while maintaining original drivetrain geometry.

External hex heads give better retention against cam-out and the threads are finished to a fine tolerance to reduce thread slip during repeat assembly. The lock nut style is revised to lower the chance of a lost pin in operation. Accessories arrive pre-assembled and the manufacturer suggests using screw glue where a permanent fix is required.
