Rear oil dampers with adjustable preload for TRAXXAS

This oil-filled rear shock assembly is supplied as a direct-fit upgrade for select TRAXXAS 4X4 rear applications, designed to cut internal friction and improve impact absorption for better rear stability. The shock body is machined from 6061-T6 alloy and sealed with a cap to keep oil contained and protect internals during normal RC use. Threaded shock bodies and adjustable collars allow ride-height and preload changes, while a locking spring perch maintains spring position under load.

Two springs are provided: a gold spring fitted with a 1.4mm wire diameter for the factory damper characteristic, and spare black springs at 1.5mm wire diameter for a firmer response. Bleeder screws are included to simplify oil servicing. All packaging parts arrive pre-assembled, and the manufacturer recommends applying screw thread locker to external fasteners to prevent loosening after installation.

This unit is intended for rear shock locations only; verify rear-only compatibility for your model before installation and adjust the top spring retainer to vary preload and effective spring rate for the surface you are running on.
