6061 T6 Aluminium Hex Hub for MAXX (+2mm)

This aluminium wheel hub hex is an aftermarket replacement for TRAXXAS MAXX 1/10 4WD monster trucks. It replaces the stock hex with a thicker unit to widen the track and give a firmer wheel mount during heavy use.

Produced from 6061 T6 aluminium, the hub improves tensile resistance over typical cast parts. The hex thickness is increased from 5.5mm to 7.5mm, delivering the +2mm track change that helps with lateral control on hard cornering and big jumps. The hex face is machined to ensure solid wheel engagement.

Fitting notes: fit using the supplied 2.5x14 steel pins, check wheel alignment after installation, and confirm there is no interference with suspension or shock assemblies prior to running. This is an aftermarket tuning component to alter track width and wheel retention on the models listed below.

Do these hubs change camber or toe settings?

A small track increase does not directly change camber or toe, but you should recheck and fine tune alignment after fitting to maintain handling balance.

Are these hubs anodised or raw aluminium?

The hubs are machined from 6061 T6 aluminium. Surface finish and corrosion resistance depend on the supplied parts; inspect and treat as needed for your environment.

Will the supplied pins work with aftermarket axles?

The included 2.5x14 steel pins are the intended retention method; if you use different axles, verify pin fit and consider stronger pins if you run extreme setups.
