This single-piece front differential pinion is an aftermarket replacement for TRAXXAS MAXX scale monster truck drivetrains, supplied by GPM. Built from hardened steel #45, the gear improves wear resistance where the pinion engages inside the differential case, and it is supplied as a 1pcs set.

Installation note: fit this pinion into the front differential assembly in place of the stock front pinion. When installing, check mesh and axial play within the differential case, use the recommended grease for steel gears, and verify smooth rotation of the differential before refitting the gearbox and suspension components.

Tuning role: upgrading to a hardened steel #45 pinion is intended to reduce gear gap and give steadier power transfer through the differential, which can assist with traction tuning or final drive changes on a MAXX setup; this is an aftermarket part for compatible drivetrains only.
