Aluminium L-shape piggy back suspension dampers

This 16 piece damper kit is an RC-scale upgrade intended for TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck platforms. It combines aluminium damper bodies with piggy back reservoirs and stiffer spring choices to refine suspension response without altering chassis components.

Production uses 6061 T6 aluminium for the main bodies, a polished 6mm damper shaft and interchangeable springs in two coil thicknesses to change spring rate. The top spring retainer allows preload tuning to adjust ride height and mid-range compliance on MAXX-scale off-road layouts.

Installation is a direct replacement for stock front and rear shocks and retains the L-shape reservoir to extend oil volume inside the damper. A sealed shock cap reduces leakage risk while the thicker shaft improves resistance to bending under heavy impacts.
