Hollow stainless skid protection for TRAXXAS MAXX

Engineered to fit the TRAXXAS MAXX monster truck chassis, this hollow stainless skid plate set protects front, centre and rear regions from abrasion and impact when running off-road or bashing. The panels shield vulnerable underside components while keeping profile slim.

Each piece is made from hand-polished stainless steel and undergoes quality checks. Material thicknesses are allocated by location to balance protection and overall weight: front panels 2.5mm, rear panels 1.8mm, side and middle panels 0.7mm. The kit is supplied as a 36pcs set intended to replace factory plastic skids where the mounting holes match.

Installation follows a simple retrofit route: remove the stock screws at the factory mounting points, fit the protection plates, use the supplied shims to adjust fitment gaps and fasten with the extended-length gold screws included. No extra fabrication should be needed when mounting to compatible TRAXXAS MAXX points.

These plates increase underbody durability and slightly affect mass distribution, so re-check chassis ride height and suspension trim after fitting to preserve handling characteristics.
