Aftermarket springs for MAXX suspension

This 4-piece spring set is intended for the TRAXXAS MAXX platform and carries the designation TXMSF/R/SPA. The mixed gold and silver finishes provide a handy way to match springs to front or rear damper locations.

Springs are made from spring steel to cope with repeated compression and impact forces typical in off-road RC use. The pack includes two gold and two silver springs sized for standard MAXX shock assemblies.

Technical measurements reported by the source: both colours are 85mm in free length. Gold springs list a 27.2mm outer diameter and 2.1mm coil thickness; silver springs list a 26.8mm outer diameter and 1.9mm coil thickness. Inner diameter for both is 23mm, which changes spring rate and preload relative to some original parts.

Setup guidance: these springs fit onto common shock bodies for front or rear mounting, and preload is set by rotating the shock top cap to alter effective compression. Use the different coil sizes to fine tune ride height and suspension stiffness for different off-road surfaces.
