Strengthened aluminium widening kit for MAXX chassis

This 88 piece aftermarket package upgrades the TRAXXAS MAXX Monster Truck to extend track width and stiffen suspension geometry at both ends. The set concentrates on replaceable upper and lower arms, adjustable CVD shafts, reinforced hex adapters and improved steering tie rods to alter stance and increase chassis stability during high-speed off-road running.

Principal parts are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium with stainless fasteners and Delrin collars where wear is critical. The design replaces stock cross-pin linkages with CVD swing joints and thicker axles to enhance driveline strength while keeping weight reasonable. Two 4mm white Delrin shims are provided to correct rear-side clearance as needed.

Assembly and setup advice: the kit gives several damper mounting positions and adjustable turnbuckles for precise toe and camber settings. The widened arm positions add 20mm per side, so confirm wheel and body clearances before final assembly. 8x16x5 bearings are included to suit the larger axle diameters in this kit.
