Aluminium air filter for Traxxas Revo

This alloy air filter assembly is intended for Traxxas Revo chassis, including the Revo 3.3 model. The set combines an aluminium-bodied filter housing with two foam filter inserts and a mounting manifold to replace worn or fatigued stock units on nitro Revo cars.

The filter's job is to keep grit and contaminants away from the carburettor and intake while preserving steady airflow for consistent idle and throttle control. Serviceable foam cores reduce downtime and simplify track maintenance.

Installation and servicing

• Remove the stock filter and confirm the intake flange and carburettor face are clean and undamaged.
• Fit a foam element into the alloy housing, seat the manifold onto the carburettor inlet, then secure and clamp the housing to the manifold.
• Inspect seals after the first run and check the foam regularly for oil or dirt build-up, cleaning or replacing the foam as required.

Keeping the foam in good condition protects internal engine components and helps maintain consistent performance.
