Replacement alloy brake rod for Revo platforms

The TRV040 is an alloy brake disk rod engineered as a replacement link for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 vehicles. It takes the place of the standard plastic linkage that connects wheel brake and steering components, providing a metal upgrade to resist wear.

Installation is carried out using the original mounting points: remove the old rod, fit the alloy unit in the same locations, then check free movement through suspension travel and full steering range to ensure there is no binding. Verify fastener security and link alignment before track or trail use to maintain consistent braking and steering behaviour on 1/10 scale off-road models.

As an upkeep and durability option, the alloy piece helps mitigate the typical wear of softer linkages and can preserve brake feel and steering geometry longer. Regular inspections of joints and mounting points after intensive running are advised.

TRV040 is specified for TRAXXAS Revo and Revo 3.3 and is intended to be used as a direct replacement for the OEM linkage in standard configurations.
Operate the suspension through its full travel and turn the steering to full lock to ensure no interference, then re-check fasteners and link geometry before running at speed.
The alloy link is mainly a durability upgrade; by reducing flex and wear it can help keep steering and brake behaviour more consistent but does not alter basic handling unless geometry is adjusted.
