This 64-piece upgrade combines front and rear aluminium shocks, hardened #45 steel axle components and spring-steel hex wideners to alter ride height and track width on TRAXXAS RUSTLER and Slash variants. It is designed to lower the centre of gravity, shorten shock geometry and widen the track to enhance chassis stability in turns and at pace on 1/10 off-road layouts.
Key adjustable elements include the shock top screw and the interchangeable springs, which allow preload and compressive feel adjustments without special tools. Front shocks are cut to 75mm and rear shocks to 80mm to achieve a lower stance; the gold and silver springs use different coil wire diameters as listed in the parts to give varied stiffness. CVD assemblies combine hardened #45 steel components with 6061-T6 aluminium housings to provide strength where driveshafts and wheel joints are loaded.
Installation note: on Slash bodies lowered by this kit the shell may contact the tyres; use the supplied aluminium collars between body posts and shock mounts to change shock angle and support the shell. Source guidance suggests front 8mm with rear 12mm at maximum body height, and front 12mm with rear 16mm at minimum body height to preserve clearance.

This kit is presented as a dedicated aftermarket option to lower CG and firm up suspension response on 1/10 Traxxas RUSTLER and Slash models, aimed at pilots seeking a firmer spring mix, shortened shock travel and a slightly wider track for steadier lateral control.
