Overview and Purpose

This 9pcs rear shock tower is an aluminium upgrade developed for the TRAXXAS 1/10 Rustler VXL to provide a more rigid mounting point for the rear shocks and to assist suspension tuning. The tower is CNC-machined from 6061 T6 aluminium and the kit includes stainless steel round head screws to secure the tower to the chassis and mates with the vehicle's existing shock mounts.

It stabilises the shock tops and offers repeatable hole placement, allowing tuners to alter leverage and shock angle to modify ride height, roll and traction behaviour. The CNC process ensures close dimensional tolerances compared to moulded parts and a robust finish for regular hobby use.

Installation: the part uses the Rustler VXL's factory mounting points and the supplied screws are sized for typical Rustler threads; standard hex drivers are all that is needed. Adjust top-mount positions gradually and test on a known surface to assess the effect.

The GPM RUS4030 aluminium tower is a durable, CNC-true replacement for the stock rear tower on the Rustler VXL, giving drivers reliable shock mounting and extra tuning positions.
