Machined L-shape Piggy Back Rear Shocks

This 1/10 scale rear L-shape piggy back shock set is designed to extend oil stroke and provide adjustable damping on off-road chassis. The bodies are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum to combine low mass with strength, and the piggy back reservoir increases oil capacity to help smooth both small and large inputs without altering original chassis geometry.

The construction uses concentrated suspension oil and a robust 4mm shock shaft that is polished to reduce friction and improve service life. Three spring coil options are included: silver 1.5mm, orange 1.6mm, and gold 1.7mm, allowing simple tuning of stiffness and ride height. White Delrin washers are specified to sit outside the metal ball end to protect mating surfaces.

The kit contains the components listed in the source parts list and supplies the fasteners required to fit the shocks to compatible models. Preload is adjustable and damping can be tailored through spring selection and oil viscosity to match different surfaces or driving styles.
