6061-T6 hex adapter compatible with Rustler VXL

This aftermarket aluminium hex adapter is compatible with TRAXXAS Rustler VXL wheel hubs and is intended to strengthen the wheel-to-axle interface while shifting the wheel mounting position 2mm outward. The adapter is produced from 6061-T6 aluminium to provide a strong, lightweight upgrade for routine and competitive running.

Placed between wheel and hub, the adapter secures the wheel and improves lateral support under power and through corners. The supplied retention pins lock the adapter to the axle so wheel indexing and steering inputs remain consistent.

To fit, remove the wheel, slide the hex adapter onto the hub, align the axle hole and secure with the supplied pins. Use standard wheel tools and check for adequate tyre and chassis clearance before extended use.

Will these work with beadlock wheels?

They can be used with beadlock wheels provided the wheel hub seats fully against the adapter and the beadlock hardware clears the adapter face.

Are replacement pins available?

Replacement retention pins of the same 2x11 size are commonly available from hobby suppliers; replace with the same dimensions to maintain fit.

Does this require suspension setup changes?

Most users will not need to alter suspension geometry for a 2mm shift, but check toe and camber after fitting and adjust if you run tight handling setups.
