Slash 1/10 4x4 low ride-height shock and wheel set

This aftermarket package for TRAXXAS Slash models combines shortened aluminium shocks with reinforced driveline parts and widened track geometry to support a lower centre of gravity layout. The kit contains front and rear shocks, hardened steel #45 axle elements, spring-steel hex wideners, rubber tyres on plastic rims, and the collars and fasteners needed to tune geometry and body clearance.

Shocks come as 75mm at the front and 80mm at the rear, enabling a lower stance when fitted. Two spring thicknesses are supplied to adjust compression and ride height: gold springs at 2.6mm and silver springs at 2.2mm. Swap springs or tweak top-screw preload to change firmness. The CVD assemblies use hardened steel #45 internals with 6061-T6 aluminium bodies for a compromise of strength and lightness.

Widening is achieved with spring-steel hex wideners that add 3mm per side (6mm total) to wheel offset, enhancing lateral stability. The included rubber tyres on plastic rims give consistent contact and steering feel for flat-surface, high-speed driving. This item is an RC model accessory only.

Because lowering reduces shell clearance, aluminium collars are included to space the body posts from the shock mount and correct shock angle. The recommended collar arrangements are: at maximum body height fit 8mm front and 12mm rear collars, and at minimum height use 12mm front and 16mm rear collars to prevent shell-to-tyre interference.
