Low-CG aluminium shaft optimised for Slash 4X4

This replacement main shaft is supplied as a single piece for the TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 drivetrain. The shaft uses an aluminium midsection with hardened steel end fittings to reduce rotating mass while reinforcing critical contact points.

Installation is routine for those familiar with Slash 4X4 maintenance: remove the original shaft from the gearbox or output assembly, check splines and bearings for wear, and refit using the original retaining hardware. Standard hex drivers and workshop basics are usually sufficient.

For tuning the low-CG profile reduces peripheral inertia and the hardened steel ends maintain durability at bearing and spline interfaces, supporting smoother driveline behaviour and longer service periods under typical off-road use.
