Front adjustable damper introduction

The SLA087F is an alloy front adjustable spring damper sold as a 1pr set engineered for TRAXXAS SLASH 4X4 chassis. It replaces standard front dampers with a machined alloy body plus alloy ball top and ball ends, and includes three spring wire gauges (1.3mm, 1.5mm, 1.7mm) together with a 4mm shaft for firmer front settings.

In real use this part is both a rugged mechanical upgrade and a simple tuning aid, allowing changes to spring rate and preload without swapping the shock body. The supplied ball fittings suit common Slash 4X4 linkages and the spring options let you tune front behaviour across different grip levels.

Fitment follows the usual threaded-body shock routine for short-course trucks: remove the OEM front shocks, move or replace lower caps if required, install the 4mm shaft into the lower mount and secure the ball ends to the suspension links. Verify travel and clearance before final tightening.
