Indexed rear damper mount for setup repeatability

This RC-scale aluminium rear damper mount set is intended to help you fine-tune rear suspension geometry on Slash Pro 2WD short course cars. The plate contains several mounting holes so you can alter damper angle and ride height, allowing adjustments to rebound and roll characteristics without changing shock length. The strengthened pickup helps keep damper attachment points consistent across setup changes.

The kit ships with stainless fasteners for use with standard Traxxas-style shock towers, namely: Stainless Steel Round Head Screw 3x12 - 4pcs and Stainless Steel Cap Head Screw 2.5x14 - 4pcs. Fit with suitable hex drivers and use careful torque when threading into plastic towers to avoid stripping or deforming threads.

What is included with the mount?

How tight should the screws be?

Tighten by hand feel with an appropriate hex driver and avoid over-torquing into plastic towers to prevent stripped threads or cracked material.

Will this change spring or shock selection?

Changing pickup alters geometry and motion ratio which can change how a given spring or damper feels; re-evaluate spring choice and damping after adjusting pickup position.
