Provided as a 2-piece set, this portal drive output spindle gear fits the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform and uses a 23T profile to match typical gearbox pinion and spur pairings. It transmits rotational force through the portal assembly into the wheels while aiming to keep engagement precise.

Made from hardened steel #45 with a nutrified and hardening surface finish, the component improves resistance to wear in slow-speed, heavy-load crawling. The spindle tooth profile is designed to reduce backlash and limit gear gap so torque transfer remains steady during technical manoeuvres.

During installation, verify the spindle alignment in the portal housing and check the mating gear mesh carefully. Proper shim spacing and correct fastener torque are essential to maintain the reduced gap the design provides and to prevent early wear.
