7075 alloy 25-tooth servo horn

Made for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platforms, this upgrade is catalogued as TRX4025TC by GPM. The horn is machined from 7075 aluminium and uses a straight-arm layout to minimise flex compared with plastic arms, while the 25T spline pattern fits commonly used crawler servos.

It serves as a direct replacement for steering linkages and offers dual mounting positions so you can adjust tie-rod geometry to suit desired steering travel or mechanical advantage during tuning. This item is intended for hobby RC purposes only.

Fitting is simple: remove the original horn, verify spline count and fit direction, fit the aluminium horn onto the servo spline, and tighten with the supplied screws. Confirm steering clearance and range before use and recheck fixings after the first outings.

Does this require a special servo?

No special servo is required, but the servo must have a 25-tooth spline to match the horn. Confirm spline type before purchase.

Can I use this to adjust steering throw?

Yes, the two tie-rod holes let you change the effective lever arm and therefore steering throw and sensitivity during setup.

What should I check after installation?

Verify there is no binding across the full steering arc, check clearances, and retorque the mounting screws after a short run to ensure everything stays secure.
