9T Hardened Pinion for TRX4 Drivetrains

This 9 tooth hardened steel pinion is offered as a replacement for TRAXXAS TRX4 vehicles and carries the model code TRX4009T. Built from steel #45, it is intended to cope with the torque profiles common to crawler use.

The pinion secures to the motor shaft and transmits drive into the gearbox; it is designed for a 32 pitch spur gear with roughly 0.8mm tooth spacing and fits motors accepting a 3.175mm centre bore when a 9T ratio is needed for improved crawl torque.

Fitting is the same as other motor pinions: fit the pinion and secure with the provided 3*3 screw shaft, then verify the mesh and smooth rotation. Using a 9T pinion favours torque over speed, making it suitable for technical rock crawling rather than high top speed runs.
