The JR-TRX418-BK aluminium body post mount is designed for Traxxas TRX-4 scale and trail crawlers and features a black anodised finish. As an aftermarket accessory, it replaces stock plastic posts to give a neater, more reliable fixing point for the vehicle body.
It secures the body to the chassis while still allowing micro-adjustments to ride height and clearance, useful for achieving tyre clearance or a refined scale stance. The aluminium construction reduces the chance of warping compared with plastic parts, helping to maintain alignment during regular use.
Installation is the standard replacement procedure: remove the factory post, position the new mount, verify clearance and alignment, then tighten. Test articulation to ensure there is no tyre or component interference throughout suspension travel.
Setup tip: because the mount is stiffer than plastic, expect altered body movement with chassis flex; fine tune body height and check articulation to reach the preferred scale appearance and clearance.
