This is a scale aftermarket brass front and rear gearbox cover purpose-built for the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform. The parts act as tough protective caps for the axle housing and are aimed at improving differential stability during technical crawling.

Notable design elements include an integrated oil filler port for easier maintenance, CNC-level tolerances intended to preserve differential alignment, and a defined weight of 76g that gives predictable ballast to the axle assembly. The kit also supplies stainless steel cap head screws 2.5x14, 4pcs for secure attachment.

Fitment and function: the covers replace factory axle housing caps on compatible TRX4 axle cases and provide a solid mounting face to reduce deformation when under load, which helps retain gear mesh and differential performance while negotiating rocks and slow obstacles.
