Brass outer portal housings for TRX4-compatible axles

This 18-piece brass outer portal drive housing set is produced for TRX4-style portal hubs and is used to increase wheel-end mass for better traction on rough sections. The housings mount to portal hub assemblies and use the included stainless steel cap head screws for attachment.

Material and role: brass raises unsprung and wheel-end weight compared to stock alloy or plastic housings, a common upgrade to enhance low-speed grip and help a vehicle recover when it digs in. Any wheel weight numbers shown by the maker should be confirmed with your own measurements when tuning a build.

Fit and installation: the housing outer diameter is 43mm and requires a wheel inner bore larger than 43.5mm for correct clearance. Confirm wheel inner diameter and hub clearance prior to installation and check that the supplied screws provide proper thread engagement for your axle stack.
