This is an aftermarket 12T pinion intended for use with the TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler platform, delivered as a two-piece set. The gear is produced from hardened #45 steel and is targeted at setups that demand reliable tooth strength in low-speed, high-torque crawling.

The pinion mounts to the motor using the provided 3x3 screw shaft and passes torque into the vehicle drivetrain. Noted dimensions are a middle hole diameter of 3.175mm, tooth count 12T, pitch number 32, and a tooth distance of 0.8mm; verify these against your motor shaft and spur before attempting installation.

Fitting guidance: check that the motor shaft is 3.175mm and the spur gear uses a 0.8mm pitch, slide the pinion onto the shaft, secure with the supplied 3x3 screw shaft, and set mesh and endplay on the bench to prevent abnormal wear during initial runs.
