Billet aluminium rear gearbox mount solution

This 28pcs aluminium mount kit is an aftermarket RC accessory intended to modify the rear gearbox-to-knuckle interface on Traxxas TRX-4 models, stiffening the mechanical connection between the rear gear box and knuckle arms while permitting fine adjustment of the damper upper eye. The components are billet-style and machined from aluminum 6061 T6 to retain low weight and strong tensile characteristics without implying any full-scale application.

The set replaces stock attachment points with a C-clamp type connection for the rear knuckle arms and moves the damper upper mounts marginally outward from the original vertical alignment. That outward offset improves lateral stability and creates space to tune damper height and angle for technical crawling performance.

Items in the supplied kit match the manufacturer's hardware list and should be used as supplied to realise the stated damper positions and tie rod stability. Using the longer 3x18 screws decouples tie rod retention from the damper mounting for independent tuning.

Fit collars and the correct screw lengths to build the intended spacer stacks, then check full articulation on your chassis before final tightening to avoid binding in the rear linkages.
