Offset wheel hexes for TRX4

The aluminium wheel hex adapters are designed for TRAXXAS TRX4 Trail Crawler chassis to move the wheel mounting point 4mm further out than standard hexes, drawing the wheel closer to the hub and widening the track for better composure on technical rock sections. These adapters let you tune wheel spacing while retaining original suspension geometry and interface with the TRX4 hub and driveshaft components.

Installation is straightforward: the 9mm-thick hex slips over the existing hub and uses the supplied stainless hardware and washers, with the wheel fastened by the vehicle's original nuts and socket screws. Moving the wheel outboard can reduce wheel-to-body gaps or permit wider tyres to clear the chassis. Available in a range of colours, these are a scale-friendly wheel spacing and stability accessory for crawling builds.

Do these adapters change ride height?

They alter wheel offset only and do not raise or lower the suspension pick-up points, so ride height remains effectively unchanged while track width increases.

Will wheel balance be affected?

Adding adapters may slightly change wheel assembly balance; if high-speed balance is a concern it is advisable to recheck wheel balance after fitting, though for low-speed crawling the effect is normally minimal.

Is fitting reversible if I want to go back to stock?

Yes, the adapters mount with the supplied hardware and use the original wheel fasteners, so they can be removed to restore the stock wheel offset without permanent modification.
