Replacement widened tyres aimed at deliberate, low-speed rock crawling on 1/18 TRX4M-compatible models. The construction combines a butyl rubber tread, swap-in foam inserts and an internal reinforcement ring to improve sidewall stiffness and longevity for repeated trail sessions.
Supplier-listed measurements are 60mm x 25mm tyre size, a pre-installed 80-degree hard sponge inside the tyre, and extra 60-degree softened sponges supplied for setup changes. The tread uses a super-soft 25-degree rubber compound that the supplier reports gives roughly 35% more grip compared with plastic tyres.
Fitment notes: designed for 1-inch wheels; some 1/24 kits such as SCX24 will need a 1-inch wheel conversion before these tyres can be fitted. The outer clamping profile features an extended tongue and longer fixing screw positions to simplify mounting and minimise the chance of the wheel slipping during clamp-up.
Installation and tuning: use the included firmer insert when you need stiffer sidewalls, or switch to the 60-degree sponges to boost compliance and bite on uneven surfaces. The reinforcement structure combined with the butyl compound reduces water-related slipping and improves resistance to tear versus certain softer plastic blends.
