This GPM front L-shape spring damper is supplied as an aftermarket replacement for TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER style vehicles and other models that accept the 135mm front damper layout. It is intended to control suspension movement and absorb impacts to keep the model stable over rough ground.

The unit features several upgrades over common stock dampers: the coil spring wire diameter is increased from 1.8mm to 2mm to enable firmer spring choices while retaining the option to use the original spring, the damper shaft is upsized from 3.5mm to 5mm to reduce bending, and the damper body is machined from aluminium with a sealed spring retainer to help prevent oil loss. The piggyback L-shape reservoir provides a longer oil travel path for smoother damping response.
