Central undertray protection

This aftermarket protection plate fits the TRAXXAS Unlimited Desert Racer 1:7 and is manufactured from 1mm 304 stainless steel. It sits over the vehicle's central undertray to reduce direct wear to the chassis and battery cover when operating on sand, loose stone or other abrasive surfaces.

Installation is straightforward: remove the original screws from the battery cover area, position the protection plate over the centre chassis and secure it with the supplied flat head screws. Double-sided tape is supplied around the battery cover to aid initial placement; for best results ensure surfaces are clean and dry and warm the tape and battery cover with a hair dryer to promote adhesion.

The uniform metal finish creates a tidy undercarriage appearance while keeping added mass minimal due to the 1mm thickness. The component is designed as a wear surface and mounting interface rather than a structural reinforcement, offering improved abrasion resistance for demanding off-road use.

Fit with the included screws and tape, confirm alignment before final tightening, and periodically check fasteners and adhesive after running on abrasive surfaces.
