Front anti-roll tuning

This 12pcs front sway bar kit is an aftermarket option for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis, replacing the original components with stainless steel and aluminium parts to influence roll behaviour and tie-rod geometry at the front axle. The set replaces the stock front sway bar and arms with a thicker stainless steel bar and aluminium sway bar arms that offer two tie-rod mounting positions for setup flexibility.

Installation typically involves removing the stock front sway bar assembly, fitting the stainless steel bar into the OEM mounts, and using the included 3.5mm reamer to enlarge factory holes where necessary. All required fasteners are supplied to secure arms and linkages, and the tie rods are attached at the selected holes to change arm angle and effective stiffness.

This kit is intended to provide a stiffer bar section and adjustable leverage using the dual arm positions, which is useful when dialling in handling for different surfaces or suspension set-ups.

Experiment with the inner and outer arm holes to balance roll stiffness and steering reaction; use the reamer for precise hole clearance before final torque-up.
