This 14-piece aluminium rear axle case carrier is an RC-scale replacement purpose-built for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER. It holds differential bearings and gearbox covers to reduce play and deliver steadier gear mesh under load.

Made from 6061-T6 aluminium, the carrier focuses on accurate bearing seating and strong mounting points while leaving gear ratios and drivetrain geometry unchanged. The material offers dimensional stability for longer-lasting alignment.

Installation uses the supplied stainless steel round head 3x16 screws to secure the gearbox covers and locate bearings; tighten the screws in the recommended order to set axial clearance rather than forcing bearings into position by hand. Useful for tuning endplay or replacing worn gearbox cover elements on the listed chassis.
