Front steering turnbuckle tailored for UNLIMITED DESERT RACER

This turnbuckle kit is manufactured for the TRAXXAS UNLIMITED DESERT RACER chassis to assist the knuckle arms through their steering arc without altering suspension geometry. It is intended for steering link tuning rather than suspension or transmission modifications.

Fabricated in 304 stainless steel, the components give enhanced stiffness and stronger resistance to corrosion compared with untreated parts, suitable for wet or dusty conditions. Turnbuckle length is changed by rotating the body to extend or retract the tie rod.

Installation is direct: remove the stock steering tie rod or fit the turnbuckle inline with the knuckle arm mounting points on the UNLIMITED DESERT RACER. After adjustment, confirm straight tracking and make sure threads are tight to avoid in-run movement.
