X-Maxx 1/8 shim and stainless screw set

This aftermarket assembly for the TRAXXAS 1/8 X-Maxx platform features aluminium shims and stainless steel screws intended for precise tuning and regular maintenance. The parts are useful where narrow spacing control and corrosion resistant fasteners are required on a hobby chassis.

Shims are applied to fine tune gear mesh, preload and side clearance at axle, gearbox and suspension interfaces. Stainless screws increase resistance to rust compared with ordinary plated screws and help maintain joint integrity after repeated outdoor running. The kit fits X-Maxx mounting locations without changing the primary geometry.

Fitment guidance: work progressively when stacking shims and use the correct hex bit to avoid damage. Tighten to a controlled feel and check for burrs on mating surfaces to protect bearings and gear sets.
