Front tower upgrade for precise Xo-1 setups

This single-piece aluminium front shock tower is an aftermarket item for TRAXXAS Xo-1 chassis. With a 4mm machined wall, it delivers an adjustable mounting plane used to refine front suspension geometry during setup and testing.

The tower permits controlled repositioning of shock mount points to change leverage and response without altering other suspension components. It installs using the Xo-1's existing mounting footprint so no chassis modification is required.

Offering improved stiffness over OEM composite towers, the aluminium design aims to keep shock alignment repeatable while you experiment with spring rates and damping settings.

Can I reuse the stock screws?

Often yes; the tower is intended to use the stock mounting hardware, but inspect threads and replace any worn fasteners for secure fitment.

Does aluminium require special care?

Keep surfaces clean and check for corrosion at contact points; a light anti-seize on steel fasteners can help prevent galling against aluminium.

Will this change cornering behaviour?

Stiffer mounting can stabilise shock orientation and make the effect of spring and damper changes more consistent, which helps fine-tune cornering balance.

Is XO028 reversible if I prefer stock parts?

Yes, because it fits the original tower footprint you can reinstall the stock tower if you decide to revert to the OEM setup.
