6061 T6 aluminium gearbox case upgrade for XO-1

This XO012A front gear box case is an aluminium upgrade kit crafted for the TRAXXAS XO-1 platform. It is intended to add rigidity to the front gearbox and support the steering assembly by replacing the standard front gearbox case and fixing the steering column with stainless posts.

Supplied in the kit are the front gear box case, two stainless steel steering fixed columns, and the stainless steel screws in the sizes and amounts shown below. The case is produced from aluminium 6061 T6 for a balance of strength and weight, and the fixed columns are stainless steel to help resist corrosion.

Fitting advice: the part mounts to the front gearbox area and uses the supplied screws to secure the case and steering fixed columns; carry out alignment checks against the servo and steering linkage during assembly to ensure proper fit.

Does this replace the original XO-1 front case?

Yes, XO012A is intended as a replacement front gearbox case for the TRAXXAS XO-1. Check clearances and alignment during a dry install.
